For the One Word Film project, we worked in pairs. Each pair was assigned a word, and using that word, we created a short film to represent its meaning. Throughout the filming process, we applied various camera shots, angles, and editing techniques to help shape and convey our story.
While brainstorming, we decided to develop a concept with the word pessimistic. We created this story where a girl is struggling to remember her dance, feeling anxious when the judge appears, showing many scenes of her overthinking the dance. During this brainstorming we visioned a girl on stage and a very strict judge.
When finishing the storyboard. It helped us shape the time line of the story and also the shots and angles we were trying to convey. With all of this combined we were able to struck a story in one.
Editing resources I utilized was Adobe Express SSO- only. I thought It was a simple way to construct the storyline with the videos you made. Also editing was very smooth and easy to cut.
Things I have done well are analyzing the angles and shots that need to be taken. What I would like to improve is making the videos more smooth and capturing the message of the story well.
