Editing- For my first post-production editing post, Ive decided to start with just editing the videos for part one. Making sure each video is cut precisely enough so there is a smooth flow going through. In this order, I'm using for part one: establishing shot, wide shot, mid-shot, 2 POV shots, two-shot, and long shot. When editing my cuts together, I've decided I want an establishing cut, with the front of the school and the hallway, so that the audience can get the sense of reality in a way.
Pre Sound- The editing for my film will be highly important, but the sound that will contribute to this first scene is most important. The audience will get an adrenaline rush due to the sound heightening with the cuts of the film. Once Nate hears a sound and bumps into Serena, the sound will fade out, almost just hearing the two of them.
